This is one of the set of Pottery Barn bowls from a garage sale last summer that I enjoy using for still lifes. Just to see what I could produce in one half hour ---I set the timer. A fun exercise. This is pretty much done now. I see areas that I could still work on further, now that I have taken a picture and posted. I may continue with this later. There is a time at the end of a large painting where I find myself putting in highlights, dark notes, and adjusting details. It is sort of like putting on earrings.
