"Brown Paper Study" by Sandra Galda

Thought you may like to see additional work I am doing now.  The brown paper charcoal drawing is part of the studio process which helps an artist determine if he has an acceptable value pattern and composition.  I have a long way yet to go on the painting, this type of work is very representational and each area must be as true to color value and form so it is a long process. There is much to be learned through this kind of training. I am thankful for the the wise guidance of my art teacher!

If interested in purchasing this, or any of my available art on this blog, contact my email address or use the PayPal button if included in the post. Small works are signed in full on the back of the painting. All works priced and sold without framing unless by special arrangement with buyer. Thanks for looking, tell me what you think-leave a comment! Paintings by Sandra Galda are copyrighted. Scroll down this page for more art!

I love the greens and reds in this painting, and the variety of values and contrasts makes an interesting and balanced composition! I can't wait to see it finished, it's already wonderful!
