Updates: Beethoven cast bust exercise and "Tea With My Foxy Whiskered Gentleman

Thought I would post updates on these two images I am painting/drawing.  I am glad I tried to capture the flower first because it is totally wilted now:)   If interested in purchasing this, or any of my available art on this blog, contact my email address sgalda@aol.com or use the PayPal button if included in the post. Small works are signed in full on the back of the painting. Thanks for looking, tell me what you think-leave a comment! Paintings by Sandra Galda are copyrighted. Scroll down this page for more art!

Sandra, excellent progress on the cast drawing. I am hoping to get a cast soon too and work on my drawing skills.

thanks Jeremy! I think your still lifes are really good and I bet the cast drawing will bring new challenges! I imagine you could google what the aims of cast bust drawing are, the set up procedures, how to best attack the project etc.... it is a real lesson in all aspects of drawing and painting--well except color. I esp see an improvement in my ability to notice value relationships. Have fun!

Beautiful drawing Sandra. Love all you new paintings too. Like the strawberries and blueberries you have on Fresh Painters today.
