Fruit Festivity (NA)

Fruit Festivity by Sandra Galda
6"x8" oil on raymor canvas board

We bought some fruit and veggies this past weekend at the Boston outdoor market. The market is said to have been in weekly operation for hundreds of years. We did get some great produce at great prices. These kiwi were part of the shopping experience.
If interested in purchasing contact my email address sgalda@aol.com Thanks for looking, tell me what you think-leave a comment! Paintings by Sandra Galda are copyright.

Another fabulous painting ... you are so good with this subject matter. Did you eat the kiwi afterward ... I hope?

I love your loose and bold brushwork here. Colors are awesome. I'm still having difficulty 'loosening up'...

HI LSaeta, thanks! The kiwi is still on the set up just as is, hubby says the skin should be darker so I may go back into it tomorrow. BUT,we did get so many...7 for a dollar...they will probably all ripen and need to be eaten at the same moment. I hope there is no dangerous vitamin in them or I will get ill eating them all.... Marina, loosening up is hard, but what helps me is I just keep in mind this daily stuff is exercise, not masterpieces. Hi Cathyann, nice to meet you!

Sandra, your kiwis are outstanding. I too love your loose style. I think it's so hard because you have to be dead on with your placement, which you've handled expertly. Well done.
