Peculiar Pair (NA)

Peculiar Pair by Sandra Galda (NA)
4"x6" oil on canvas board

I am still working with the colorful votive candle holders we bought at a garage sale this past Saturday! Will try to shift subjects tomorrow. If interested in purchasing contact my email address sgalda@aol.com Thanks for looking, tell me what you think-leave a comment! Paintings by Sandra Galda are copyright.

Went to the Boston Museum of Art with our daughter and her best friend yesterday. We all sat and sketched, walked and looked. We have done this before together, all three of us love to draw and wander around all that terrific art.

See my happy smile above? That's me in my fav place, the art museum! Below is one of my fast little sketches I love to make while there.

No need to switch subjects. These are wonderful! Love the blue and yellow!

Sandra, You know I love to paint glass too. Someday, I'd like to attempt an entire painting of glass items, but it seems too daunting, maybe someday. I've got to start hitting garage sales and finding the colored glass items like yours.

Sandra, I have to say your paintings have the best color! Always eye catching.

beautiful light coming through that glass.
Love the museum shot and your sketch. You do indeed look happy. That would make a great profile icon, too. :-) So cool that you sketch with your family.

Hi LSaeta, Katie! thanks, do love the colored glass, Rob, you are doin so great yourself with glass items, you would do a great job with a painting of just glass. Check out Aaron Lifferth's blog, his work with glass is so inspiring to me. L.Holm, yup so many folks love to draw, and I always say practice gets you there! My daughter is a good little drawer, and plays piano magically too!

How wonderful that you have access to the museum and share your love for art with your daughter in this way!
