Pattern of Healthy Snacking (NA)

Pattern of Healthy Snacking by Sandra Galda  (NA)
6"x8" oil on gessoboard
This was an exercise of editing and simplification. The patterned cloth is sort of new for me in a small painting. It's from an upholstery sample book. I loosed all the fabric swatches, put them on a ring and hung them in a closet near my easel. If interested in purchasing contact my email address sgalda@aol.com Thanks for looking, tell me what you think-leave a comment!

Nice range of green-to-blue. The contrasting red gives it zing. Great tip - upholstery samples.

Love the reflections in the glass. Very nice work. The coffee cup paintings are great, I really enjoyed checking them out. Your work has a wonderfully fresh feeling to it. And what would we do without that morning fix?

As I scrolled down your painting and the fabric came in to view, it just jumped at me! How fun and well done!

Love the glass again. Captured in simple strong strokes with confidence.
