Sandra, You really nailed down the form of these apples and pears. You make it look so easy! How do you do that? Love the brushwork!

Hi Karen! Thanks for the encouragement! Glad you like the pears! I sometimes sketch on the image with a pencilor charcoal. I have been told by some that is not a good idea. When there are more than just one or two elements in a composition I do much better if there is some under drawing. Do you sketch in a drawing sometimes, or just the brief marks with burnt sienna we learned at the workshop. I alternate between both approaches...
