Apples slices are fun to paint.  Now this one also has a pay pal button.  Below the "Apple Slices" I am including the large painting I finished last month , one of two that was juried into the Newburyport Art Association's Fall Show and sale.  I was informed that this one above received the oil painting award.  I am so grateful and so happy!  If interested in purchasing this, or any of my available art on this blog, contact my email address sgalda@aol.com or use the PayPal button if included in the post. Small works are signed in full on the back of the painting. Thanks for looking, tell me what you think-leave a comment! Paintings by Sandra Galda are copyrighted. Scroll down this page for more art!

Terrific! Of course it got best in show! You've got my favourite figurine in there - as I've said before, your renderings of it rock!

Congratulations Sandra! A very well deserved award, I hope you're celebrating in style! I really like the apples as well, they're full of autumn colours and seem to acknowledge the turning of the seasons.

Hi Sandra! Still learning to navigate blogworld. It was great to visit with you at NAA. I like your blog. As soon as I saw your award-winning painting with Peter Rabbit, I remembered admiring it in the exhibit. Our talk inspired me: I started my blog! pperras.blogspot.com

Hope to see you again soon. All the best, Pam
