"Oranges and Blue Bowl"

Oranges and Blue Bowl by Sandra Galda (finished)
5"x7" oil on gessobord

I put another hour into this one and I think I am ready to move on to the next painting. It is enjoyable to take these daily painting exercises to a more refined level now and then. Wonderfully painted. I was just looking back and forth to the previous posts you did of this. All 3 are so good but you really refined it and brought out the crisp ceramic look of the bowl. That cherry looks like it could be plucked off the screen. Really beautiful piece, Sandra!

Sandra,
Looks great. As always, the colors are rich. The orange slices are really awesome.

Great values in this, Sandra. Also the hard shadows against the vibrant colors of the fruit and bowl.

Very nice composition Sandra. The colours and the lighting reflection on the fruit and bowl works beautifully. I love it.
