Triangular Vase with Carnation (NA)

Triangular Vase with Carnation by Sandra Galda
5"x7" oil on gesso board

The small green vase is strangely shaped. We bought it at a garage sale earlier this spring. I have too many red flowers in the house for me to paint and I hate to have them go off without attempting to get several paintings out of them. As much as I love red flowers, next time we will try a different color! If interested in purchasing contact my email address sgalda@aol.com Thanks for looking, tell me what you think-leave a comment! Paintings by Sandra Galda are copyright.

You really have it going on with the reds and greens! Another great composition.

The vase almost looks like... an ink bottle or a perfume bottle? Wish I'd been at that garage sale! Whatever its former life, it makes an intriguing vessel.

Sandra, Beautiful job on the flowers. The complementary colors really work and the brushwork is great.

This painting really works...the composition, values, and colors.

Everything about this painting is stunning. Where on earth did you find a triangular vase?

Loved your eggplant from earlier this month. But Wow this recent series of aqua and red combos are very striking! Nice Work.
