Wonderful light in this. I've been away a few weeks and love all your new paintings!
Thanks so much, and I am glad you are back, Gwen! Looking forward to you new work!
It is amazing that this is only
4"x 4". It looks so much larger.
It's beautiful.
I love seeing your paintings. You have such a nice sense of continuity. The blue-green to lime green background is enthralling, and the magenta of the daisy really sets it off well.
Sandra, I love your brushwork in your paintings, strong yet soft.
Hi Sandra,
I found your blog through the thumbnail picture of this piece on r. garriott's blog. I had to come and take a closer look.
The thing that captured my interest is your ability to paint the reflective qualities of the glass vase. This is a wonderful piece. Since I work with glass, I enjoy it immensely when a painter, such as yourself, is able to depict glass and do it well.
Of course, the entire composition with the flowers is just beautiful. Great job.
