A quick, loosely sketched drawing of John the Baptist after an old Renaissance painting. Many celebrate Ash Wednesday today, and this seems an appropriate subject to post! Posting a sketch is a departure from the aim of this blog, but drawing can sharpen the talent, albeit in a different way, than the small daily paintings. I have always loved and been busy making art. Education: B.S. in Graphic Design from SUNY at Buffalo and a Master of Liberal Arts degree in 2008 (concentrated in Art History), from Harvard University. Six years post graduate study and training at Ingbretson Studios http://studio.ingbretson.com/ learning the Boston Style of contemporary realism.
