We have moved to Florida!

Hi all,
A post to update my news! We have moved to Florida! I now will be teaching in my new state! I have been busy painting and reorganizing the studio and its teaching activities. I love the weather and the beautiful landscapes, seascapes, trees, flowers and weather! I have many folks here who are very eager to learn the Boston School painting I teach and practice. I am still an approved Art Renewal Center atelier, https://www.artrenewal.org/Atelier/Index/10172 and I hope to have images soon of my teaching activities in the sunny south!

Please check back as the fall semester gets underway. Please also be patient, as the pandemic restrictions have affected all of us in our business!
Thanks,
Sandra

"Fish and Onions" In process

"Fish and Onions" by Sandra Galda
16"x20" oil on canvas
In Process

Here is a work I am just about finished painting.   When finished, it may be going into a show.  The fish have been very cooperative with me through the process.  They have been in and out of the freezer in bags multiple times without complaining. The onions on the other hand had to be replaced from the stage two times due to shrinking and molding. Some performers are difficult. I thought I would show the fish in those bags below:

My art teacher Paul Ingbretson is giving a lecture on the Boston School Style of Painting April 7, 2013 at 3-4:30PM at the Newburyport Art Association in Newburyport Ma.  Come learn more about this beautiful style of painting still being taught in ateliers today!

If interested in purchasing this, or any of my available art on this blog, contact my email address sgalda@aol.com or use the PayPal button if included in the post. Small works are signed in full on the back of the painting. All works priced and sold without framing unless by special arrangement with buyer. Thanks for looking, tell me what you think-leave a comment! Paintings by Sandra Galda are copyrighted. Scroll down this page for more art!
