In process: "Hold On" by Sandra Gala

In process: "Hold On" by Sandra Galda
16"x20" oil on canvas

Had some time to work this painting and there is much more to do on the image.  The drawing of cast busts is my main focus right now.  There is much to learn from drawing! Below is a shot of my current drawing (same cast bust as last time, but new start), before I worked on it more today.

Sandra,
Your painting is coming along great. You are right about how important it is to draw. The drawing looks fabulous.

The painting is coming along well. Such beautiful rich colors. And I too was noticing how well it is drawn. Good work.

Sandra, I always feel that drawing is the thing most overlooked in painting. You are showing great commitment to accuracy in completing a cast study.

Sandra,
Your drawing is so nicely done...it just radiates with light.
