Spring Rosebud

Spring Rosebud by Sandra Galda
4"x4" oil on gesso board
Did this small exercise while cooking a shrimp dinner. I do believe that picking up that paintbrush each day will yield a development in my art, even if the day is so busy I do not get to work on my bigger paintings, but only complete one small work. Today was one such day- I finally drove down and brought my thesis to the bindery --one copy for the library and one for my shelf! If interested in purchasing any of my art on this blog, contact my email address sgalda@aol.com Thanks for looking, tell me what you think-leave a comment! Paintings by Sandra Galda are copyright.

This has very nice value separations. I also like the transition from warm to cool green from light to dark.

Beautiful!
Ha ha, funny, it's worded as if you're offering your thesis for sale. :)
