I have always loved and been busy making art. Went to the Boston Museum of Art with our daughter and her best friend yesterday. We all sat and sketched, walked and looked. We have done this before together, all three of us love to draw and wander around all that terrific art.

These apples seem to be sizing one another up. I hope they meet with mutal approval? I have been keeping so many of these granny smith apples around for my daughter who loves to eat them and for me who often paints them, that I had to make apple crisp last night with some before they spoil. The solitary painting process provides the time for the food items to reveal their obscured relationships. After staring and painting this set up for an hour, I observed what seems to be a huge drama occurring with the appearance of the far right tomato...am I the only one who imagines this sort of interactions? Bought this flower at the grocery store yesterday so I could paint it today. They took it out of an already constructed arrangement and sold it to me for one dollar....so I just had to paint it.
