6"x6" oil on raymar canvasboard
This is my dad's shaving brush, part of a set that includes a matching cup. The foaming soap is still in it, even though he has been gone 13 years now. I keep it in my bathroom cupboard to remind me of him! Thought I should include it today to complement yesterday's post of my mom's German mementos-she has been gone 20 years this December. Holidays, though special, have never been the same without them! If interested in purchasing contact my email address sgalda@aol.com or use PayPal button if included in this post. OH! My dad AND my husband use(d) these! These days actually my husband uses the foam in the can. I loved it when he used the brush like this, though. It's a little ritual. Beautiful work, love the cropping.
Hi Kelly! Thanks!!! You are so right , it is a "ritual" I can remember seeing the dramatic sweeps of the brush as he put it on--maybe he exagerated it as his little daughters observed? ha
I love it! My hubby still uses that method. Hmmmm, now there's an idea...
Very dynamic painting!
I like this one, Sandra! Thanks for visiting.
Wonderful painting. Love those stacked brush strokes.
Congrats on your award!
