Coruscating Eggplant

Coruscating Eggplant by Sandra Galda
4"x4" oil on gessobord
Yes, I am intrigued by the gleaming reflections on this vegetable! This little guy was also from the weekend market trip to Boston. I sure got a lot of items to paint from that market. It is kind of hard to bring myself to actually cook the 10 or so small eggplants we bought there, they are so cute and soooo small---they don't seem real. If interested in purchasing contact my email address sgalda@aol.com Thanks for looking, tell me what you think-leave a comment! Paintings by Sandra Galda are copyright.

Sandra, thanks for the comments on my apples, I've learned a lot by looking at your blog.

I'm loving the purple, blue, green combination of this eggplant study. Are your kids protesting with all this produce in the house, you'll have to go on a junkfood binge soon!

thanks everyone, the loose brushwork is kinda an approach you must MAKE youself do...dont know bout you all but that retouching nit picking instinct is so hard to resist! Rob, you are so funny, you bet they tire of healthy eating, that is what weekends are for right? Bring on the junk food, its Friday!!!!!
