Sandra, I love the color combination, it really works well. And of course, I like that you used glass in your composition!
Hey Rob! Thanks so much for commenting. You know I was thinking of your terrific pear picture when I did this dont you? I of course still greatly admire that painting of yours! My post today here seems just a little too labored? but thanks, yes the glass is a challenge, and I do like the color combo. I think I need a break. The housework and other tasks are calling me --- and when I try to paint under that pressure I get nervous. Yet, isnt this daily painting enjoyable? I really think the "daily" thing sharpens our abilities and teaches us so much.
Sandra, I really like your composition, and your exciting use of color - I take it you just took a Carol Marine workshop - I thoroughly enjoyed mine. Your work is great. I live in RI, but I loved living in the Boston area (South Shore), and was there until 5 years ago. I still go up about once a week to see my 'old' painting friends!
